About the Company
Funkytown Music Academy started in 2019 with the simple ideas that music is for everyone, excellent teachers grow excellent students, we can balance excellence and enjoyment, and learning music shouldn't cost a fortune. Located just a few blocks from TCU, University United Methodist Church shared this vision, and just like that, we leapt into existence.
Today with over 70 students and more than ten instructors teaching everything from piccolo to piano, Funkytown is expanding. We're proud to open our second location in south Tarrant County in partnership with Crowley First United Methodist Church.
